With the FIFA World Cup happening this year, we thought it might be fun to run a World Cup of Advertising across different categories. This time we’re looking at which country does the best job of selling… itself! Here are some tourism spots from around the world. Which one has you packing your bags?

New Zealand:

So you’ve been dreaming that you’re flying in your jimjams over the most spectacular landscape you’ve never seen? That means you need to book a ticket to New Zealand. Check it out. 

Australia:

The greatest name in the outback is back in the outback! Only this time, Dundee isn’t a Hollywood movie. It’s a giant tourism ad for Australia, watch it here.

Iceland:

Iceland challenges you to sing The Hardest Karaoke Song in the World! Try to keep up with Steindi and discover the A-Ö of Iceland. Challenge accepted!

Ireland:

Tourism Ireland invited a couple on holiday wearing a camera connected to a heart rate monitor. These are the moments their hearts chose.

Sweden:

Toftan, Ektorp, Voxnan, Hemsjö, Kallax … These are all wonderful places in Sweden. Yet, most people associate these names with waste bins, sofas, bath towels, block candles and shelf systems. And it’s all because of a blue and yellow giant – say what now?
