Da Jerk
Get a taste of Jamaica.
We helped introduce Australia to Portuguese chicken, taking Nando's from a handful of stores to over 300. Da Jerk was built to do the same for Jamaican jerk chicken.
People around the world are only now discovering the joy of jerk, a style of cooking native to Jamaica in which the meat is marinated in a special spice mixture, creating a real flavour explosion. Da Jerk was created to make that taste sensation a viable weekly dining option for Australians for the first time.
Delivering the irie experience
A word of Jamaican origin, irie is used to describe something that's excellent or pleasing, and it captures the cool vibe inherently associated with the Caribbean. With Da Jerk we wanted to offer people an escape from the stresses of daily life, a place where they could feel everything is irie.
Great jerk chicken. Great music. Great vibes. That equation shaped every part of the brand, from the illustration system and packaging through to the menu, the website and the in-store experience.
